Other healthcare professionals may consult their licensure board to verify that their participation counts toward CE requirements.* This presentation will provide a broad overview of eating disorder identification, diagnostic criteria, and assessment strategies. Providers will improve upon their knowledge base and understanding of eating disorders. The aim of this presentation is for participants to improve their ability to screen for and identify eating disorders in order to provide effective intervention and referrals. Objectives 1. Identify the various diagnostic criteria for eating disorder presentations across the lifespan 2. Demonstrate understanding of assessment tools and questions to screen patients for eating disorders 3.
